Pinal County is located in the central part of the U.S. state of Arizona. Figures from the U.S. Census Bureau give an estimated 2009 population of 340,962 residents . The county seat is Florence. Pinal County contains parts of the Tohono O'odham Nation and the Gila River Indian Community.
Growth from the Phoenix metropolitan area to the south has begun to spread into the northern parts of Pinal County.
